Inga Breder

Inga Breder was born in Bodø in Northern Norway but moved early on to Drammen and later to Kristiania (Oslo) in 1895.

As a young lady she lived with her parents and was an active amateur photographer. In 1921 she was a member of the photography club Oslo Kamera Klubb (OKK). She was highly active in the club’s competitions and a respected jury member. Breder photographed landscapes, urban imagery, portraits, interiors, and still lifes. Her still life Crystal was published in a catalogue for her first international exhibition, held in 1926 in Stockholm.
