Curator Hilde Herming
Hilde Herming – curator Over regnbuen/Queer Culture Year 2022 at Preus museum.
Hilde Herming is a film and media graduate from the University of Stirling, Scotland, and the University of Oslo, where she specialised in film from feminist and postcolonial perspectives. She is also the initiator and editor of the ongoing project and book Fast Plass – Norwegian women on plinths (2017).
Herming is a founding member of the Films from the South Festival in Oslo, and has extensive experience in communication and project management from institutions such as the Norwegian Film Institute, Henie Onstad Kunstsenter, KORO (Art in Public Space), KHIO (Oslo National Academy of the Arts), the Museum of Cultural History and the National Museum, and has held the position as Arts Manager to the British Council in Norway.
She currently works at the National Women’s Museum in Kongsvinger as curator and museum manager.
