Pinhole Photography - Short Version

A workshop available for classes that can spend a whole day.

Students try becoming photographers that use the world's simplest camera – a pinhole camera in the form of a paint can with a 0.4 mm hole as a lens.  

We load the cans with light-sensitive paper and shoot photographs outdoors. The paper negatives are developed in the darkroom and dry while we have a guided tour in the museum.

We can contact-copy dry negatives and make positive copies of them.

This gives students insight into the physical principles of photography, and they also receive something practical and magical
