Photography Day 2021 - corona edition

We're planning Photography Day 2021! This year, due to the pandemic, we will have to prepare for some limitations in the program, but we are still very much looking forward to making a celebration worthy of the medium.

Preus Museum is the national museum of photography in Norway and has hosted the Photography Day since 2007. The Photography Day is a celebration of the wonderful medium that entered the world through the daguerreotype in August 1839. We aim to connect the different uses of the medium, both amateurs, artists, and professionals. The one-day-event is filled with exhibitions, lectures, and activities.

Photography Day 2021 - corona edition will offer:

The event will take place indoors at the Artilleriverkstedet, in the Preus museum and in the Laboratory/the White House. There are also some outdoor exhibitions to experience: Knut Egil Wang - Standstill and My Sanctuary.

© Jorun Larsen (Norge), Frokost-poses, 2020.
